What is TFK Digital?
TFK Digital brings current events and real-world curriculum connections into elementary classrooms throughout the school year. Available in four editions across grades K through 6, TFK Digital is a rich source of informational text, multimedia content, and teaching tools developed to boost reading comprehension and build knowledge across subject areas.
What features does TFK Digital offer?
Our top story—the longest, most in-depth story of each week—is available at two reading levels, and features an audio read-aloud, a Spanish translation, and Common Core-aligned assessment and teaching tools. TFK Digital stories also include paired texts; engaging videos; debates and live polls; maps, graphs, and interactive time lines; Common Core–aligned teacher’s guides; questions and prompts for close-reading instruction; and skill-building printable resources.
Are there Spanish translations available for articles?
Yes. Each week, the top story is also offered in Spanish.

I am a TIME FOR KIDS subscriber. Can I sign in to TFK Digital with the same credentials?
With a TFK Combo or Digital subscription, you have access to TFK Digital. Sign in using the same credentials you use to log in to timeforkids.com.
With a TFK Print subscription, you do not have access to TFK Digital. To start a free 60-day trial of TFK Digital, go to app.timeforkids.com or call customer service at 1.800.777.8600.

How do I keep using TFK Digital after my free trial expires?
In order to access TFK Digital after your free trial expires, you will need to subscribe. You will be able to use the same log-in and password that you used during your free trial, and all student data will carry over. If you have any problems, please contact customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1.800.777.8600 for assistance.

How do students sign in to TFK Digital?
Before you add students to your TFK Digital account, you will choose a single password for all students to use. When you add students, TFK Digital will automatically generate an individual PIN for each student. The PIN serves as his or her user name. Students can sign in to TFK Digital using their PINs and the shared password.
How is student privacy protected?
When teachers add students to their account, TFK Digital will automatically generate an individual PIN, or user name, for each student. No personal information is collected from the student. When students log in with their PIN and the classroom password provided by the teacher, they will be able to see the articles and take quizzes assigned by their teacher and browse through all the content available to them.
Can students access TFK Digital at home?
Yes. All a student needs is his or her PIN, the password you have set, and Internet access.
Can students use the same log-in for multiple subject areas?
Yes. When you set up your TFK Digital account, you have the option to add other teachers who work with the same students. TFK Digital is designed to be cross-curricular, with content and resources appropriate for many subject areas. Teachers of different subject areas can all assign articles to the same students through a single account.
Does TFK Digital work on all devices?
Yes. TFK Digital works on all devices, including laptop and desktop computers, Chrome books, tablets such as the iPad, and smartphones.
What browser should I use?
TFK Digital works on all browsers. For the best experience, please make sure that you have installed the latest version of your preferred browser.
